Job Summary: The Beertender is primarily responsible for providing friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive service to guests at the bar at Ketch Grill & Taps at Portside Pier. This position will be responsible for describing, selling, and pouring brews and serving as an expert on Ketch Brewing, the Portside Pier property, and our products.Compensation & Benefits:

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages consistently adhering to all recipe standards.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Anticipate guests' needs and exceed guest service expectations.
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, with the ability to answer questions and make suggestions.
- Take orders, serve bar patrons, and process payment.
- Keep designated service stations clean and organized.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory.
- Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems.
- Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
- Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum 1 year restaurant experience.
- Friendly, energetic, detail-oriented team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment!
- A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team.
- Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs.).
- Must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol.
- Food Handler Certification.
- Responsible Alcohol Service Certification.
