CGRC's IBHS Program (Intensive Behavioral Health Services) is an in-home service that assists children / adolescents and families in addressing behavioral health needs by using strength-based goals and integrating community services. IBHS is a wraparound service in which children are supported at home, at school, and in the community because we believe progress accelerates when the child's entire environment is consistently engaged. In addition, using proven functional behavioral assessments, we teach children the skills to achieve one's needs in a more positive and age-appropriate manner.
If you're looking for the opportunity to share and expand your competencies with providing behavioral health services, IBHS is for you.
Some responsibilities include:
- Consulting with parents and treatment team members across settings to transfer skills and collect data on behavior interventions.
- Develop effective treatment plan goals with measurable objectives to promote change and progress.
- Design and implement an effective behavior plan and ongoing data collection to assess behavior change and modify treatment as needed.
- Record all case progress notes in order to maintain accurate history of treatment events and client progress in accordance with CGRC timelines.
- Determine in conjunction with child/adolescent, family and other involved professionals, the clinical need for special evaluations and services including family support services, medication assessment by psychiatrist, psychological testing, functional behavior assessment, etc.
- Conduct intake appointments with families and collects information relevant to the assessment process (medical info, mental status of client, and bio psychosocial info).
- Conduct observations of children across settings of home, school, and community.
- Complete assessments with teachers, parents, and children to aid in clarifying a child's diagnosis.
- Develop clinical documents that summarize observational data collected, assessments completed, and that support continuing treatment of identified behaviors (functional behavior analysis report, treatment plan, etc.
