**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior plans and providing support to clients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Work directly with individuals to provide behavior therapy
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement care plans
- Assist in behavior management and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
**Experience:**
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Ability to provide direct patient care with compassion and empathy
**Preferred Skills:**
- Previous experience working with children
- Enthusiastic, genuine, energetic and compassionate
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
- Proficiency in medical records management
