What is a Behavior Technician?Behavior Technicians work independently under the supervision of our amazing team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and Speech and Occupational Therapists to help our clients with Autism. They work in homes, daycare settings, and schools to provide individualized play-based therapies that help children learn to improve their social interactions and communication, and to better their ability to take care of themselves. Behavior Therapies can be something like showing a child the steps needed to tie their own shoelaces or wash their hands. Or helping them to communicate better with the people around them. The ultimate goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning. Our goal is for our clients to reach their full potential and transition to a school setting through our clinically excellent Autism care.Of course, there's a lot of science that goes into our Autism care, and we'll be supporting you every step of the way. Here's How You'll Make a Big Impact!Provide clinically excellent care for children aged 18 months to 6 years old diagnosed with AutismBuild and strengthen therapeutic relationships with clientsEducate parents on behavior therapy principlesUse technology to accurately collect ongoing clinical dataCollaborate with clinical leadership teams to communicate client progress Assure the health and safety of clientsTravel to the homes and schools of clients to offer individualized care RequirementsWant to Join Us?
