Responsibilities:

The Behavior Technician (BT) will deliver direct behavior support services to individuals and their families within HCA's Autism and Neurodevelopmental Support Services (ANDSS) Program, under the supervision of certified professionals (BCBA-D, BCBA, or BCaBA).

  • Provide behavior support, teach adaptive behaviors, and model ABA techniques to families to prevent complex care needs, including a more restrictive level of care.
  • Document all services per standards set forth by governing bodies, accrediting bodies, organizational, and payers.
  • Maintain complete and timely client records, including progress notes, data collection, and visit verification logs.
  • Attend treatment team and staff meetings consistently.
  • Participate actively in supervision meetings.
  • Collaborate with community agencies to ensure comprehensive client support.
  • Uphold the HCA Code of Conduct in all job functions.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma; must pass a background check.
