Overview:

Pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule's:

  • Day Shift: 6:45am - 3:30pm
  • Swing Shift: 2:45pm - 11:30pm
  • Night Watch: 10:45pm - 3:15am or 2:45am - 7:15 am
  • Weekends only: Day and Swing shifts
  • Undergraduate Clinical Internships available

Our team works tirelessly to uncover the academic, social, and emotional potential of students held back by emotional and behavioral struggles. We incorporate Relational DBT into every aspect of our program, ensuring that our therapists and staff are trained to help students practice these skills continually.

Responsibilities:
  • Walking students through their day-to-day activities.
  • Collaborate with therapists to implement interventions aligned with each client's treatment plan.
  • Relaying any pertinent information over to the treatment team
  • Consistent and thorough documentation and reporting
  • Crisis prevention and management
  • Maintaining a safe environment for clients
  • Participate in staff bonding and house bonding activities
  • Daily light housekeeping; sweeping, cleaning up/putting things away, dishes, etc.
  • Enforcing a positive environment and being a role model
  • Contribute to meal preparation while promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Attend and engage in group sessions with clients, fostering a sense of community.
  • Uphold professional boundaries while building trust and rapport.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 21 years old or older
  • Current driver's license and a good driving record
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build healthy relationships.
  • Ability to set and teach positive values
  • Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid.
  • Ability to safely hold or restrain an upset or combative student
  • Skill in de-escalating agitated students.
  • Ability to pass a Utah State background check
  • Must be willing to make an 8-month minimum commitment
  • Willing to get Food Handlers Permit before first day of work
