If you're a 2nd-year clinical Master's student seeking a meaningful internship with exceptional training, supervision, and community impact, we invite you to join our team. As a Master's-Level Intern in Integrated Behavioral Health at Baystate Wesson Women's Clinic, you'll gain hands-on experience while working alongside a diverse medical staff in the OB/GYN clinic. What You'll Do: As a Master's-Level Intern, you'll support women's health through short-term treatment, warm handoffs for patients, community-based support, and brief interventions. You'll work with a diverse population presenting a range of mental health diagnoses, complex trauma, and co-morbidities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver short-term treatment and brief interventions to patients in collaboration with medical staff
  • Conduct warm handoffs and provide community-based support to individuals with diverse needs
  • Gain experience working with a wide spectrum of mental health diagnoses and complex trauma histories
  • Work with a multilingual population (English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Arabic, etc.), utilizing translation services as needed
  • Participate in clinical team meetings, supervision, and training opportunities

What You'll Bring:
  • Enrollment in the 2nd year of a CSWE-accredited Master of Social Work program or a Master's program in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, etc. (required)
  • Experience working with female adolescents and adults (required)
  • Familiarity with PC/Windows computers, Microsoft Office programs, and email systems (required)
  • Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (preferred)
  • Team-based, goal-directed approach to client care (preferred)
