That's why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Behavioral Health TechnicianThe Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential and inpatient milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.Compensation Range:Behavioral Health Technician: $22.00 - $28.00Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position.Schedule:Full Time, 0.8 FTE (32 hr/wk), focusing on Day & Evening shifts. (Trained on Overnight shifts as well for coverage).
- Days: 6:30 - 3:00pm / 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Evenings: 1:30pm - 10:00pm / 2:30 - 11:00pm / 3:30pm - 12:00am
- Overnights: 11:00pm - 7:30am
How Behavioral Health Technicians Empower Recovery:
- Available to support and assist in programming; or to support when programming is not scheduled
- Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment
- Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support to residents at mealtimes and snacks
- Assists in resident admissions
- Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed
- Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment
- Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks
Qualifications:
- Current Basic Life Support / First Aid certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire.
- Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker's Permit obtaining within 14 days of employment
- Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to drive

- Holidays: Employees not working at a residential or inpatient facility are eligible for 7 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday Non-exempt employees working at a residential or inpatient facility will receive premium pay at a rate of double time if they are scheduled and work on one of ten designated holidays.
- Employees hired on or after February 20, 2022, will receive premium pay at a rate of time and-a-half if scheduled and work on one of ten designated holidays.
- Exempt employees working at a residential or inpatient facility who are scheduled to work on a holiday may take the holiday on a different day during the same pay period.
- Additionally, non-exempt employees are eligible or various shift and weekend differentials.
