Ro Health is looking for experienced Behavioral Technicians to work at Carlsbad Unified School District or other surrounding school districts for a mix of classroom support and 1:1 student support. Work Experience in ABA is required. This would be a permanent position, Monday-Friday between regular school hours of 8 AM -3 PM and will begin Full Time in November and continue on into the next school year. Overview:

Pay: $21/hr (Experienced Behavioral Technician) $24/hr (after obtaining RBT Certification) Requirements:
- ABA (applied behavioral analysis) work experience (Deal Breaker)
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with autism
- Previous school experience is not required but preferred.
- Willingness to assist in students learning process
- Strong ability to work in a team environment
- Great with kids, and patience to provide instructional support within the classroom
Job Duties: In this position, you will be working with individuals on the autism spectrum and who have other special needs. You will provide 1 on 1 treatment for the client, or you may be asked to work to support general classroom management needs. You will be required to use principles of applied behavior analysis to teach adaptive behaviors such as language, socialization, play self-help and motor skills. You will also implement behavior modification techniques such as differential reinforcement of alternative behaviors to reduce the exhibited problem behaviors. You may also provide training to client's parents/caregivers in how to effectively implement the behavioral intervention plan.
- Follows and enforces rules, policies, and procedures as set by the teacher, school, and school district.
- Assists teachers with classroom management including but not limited to; in-class tasks, supervising students, or performing administrative tasks.
- Provides all support under the direction of the teacher.
- Provides behavior support to students when applicable, by utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis to teach and model adaptive behaviors such as language, socialization, play, self-help, and motor skills.
- Uses data to track student progress towards their own goals.
- Provide quality care for individuals with autism disorders and other special needs
- Work with faculty, and staff to ensure a safe, productive and healthy environment
- Maintain confidentiality by obeying HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state laws, the state department of health, state board of education, and board policy in-health services area.
- Professionally interact with colleagues, members of the public, and clients or business associates.
- Handles other duties as assigned.
