Children's Minnesota is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to join the Integrated Behavioral Health team at one of our primary care clinics through Children's Health Network located in Rogers, MN; Partners in Pediatrics. SUMMARY Children's Health Network is a clinically integrated network consisting of independent physician owned and Children's Minnesota owned primary and specialty care practices. The Behavioral Health Specialists are psychologists, social workers, and counselors who work closely with primary care providers to provide coordinated, convenient, cost-effective behavioral health services for children and adolescents at their primary care clinics. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment, providing impactful mental health support to children and families within a primary care setting. As an integrated part of the clinical care team, the Behavioral Health Specialist provides short term mental health services, consultation, brief assessments, and treatment planning with children and their families. Schedule follows clinic hours; Monday - Friday, 8am- 4:30pmQualifications: EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
  • Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical counseling
  • LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC licensure in the State of Minnesota
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced clinic or hospital environment.*Willingness to work under appropriate clinical supervision.*Exhibits a high degree of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.*Ability to assess and provide intervention services to children and adolescents in acute crisis / experiencing suicidal ideation.*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
