From a cheerful greeting as guests arrive at the hotel to a sincere thank you at departure, the ideal John Rutledge House bell staff helps to create a seamless five-star experience for guests throughout their stay. Bell staff duties include some hotel upkeep in addition to guest service.Responsibilities:

• Greet each guest as they arrive at the hotel
• Carry guests' luggage and deliver to guestrooms
• Acquaint guests with the property and room amenities
• Host the evening social hour
• Converse with guests about local restaurants and attractions when asked
• Assist with hotel upkeep including maintaining cleanliness of hotel kitchen and parking lot and distributing laundry.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Must have a congenial personality and be dedicated to providing outstanding guest service
• Able to bend, stoop and climb multiple flights of stairs
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have flexible scheduling availability and must be available to work weekends and occasional holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous hotel experience preferred
