Job Description :
Our client is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join their team. As a Benefits Coordinator , you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all benefits programs for the company. The ideal candidate must be organized in fast paced environment, while utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills. Job Title: Benefits Coordinator Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30043 Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000 What's the Job?
  • Manages the development, implementation, and administration of new and existing benefit programs in accordance with plan documents
  • Collaborate with managers to understand their issues with benefits
  • Administers all benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, COBRA, Flex, etc.)
  • Reviews benefits administration process; identifies gaps and implements process efficiencies
  • Ensures all plan documents and summary plan descriptions are compliant. Ensure accurate and timely submissions of required governmental reporting including 5500s, SPDs etc. Stay informed of benefits related legislation, including The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
  • Coordinates the annual open enrollment process for active and COBRA participants by establishing a timeline, ensuring system integrity, developing the communication and working with vendors
  • Resolves complex employee benefit plan issues
  • Ensures benefit plan compliance with federal, state and local statutes and regulations including, but not limited to FMLA, ADA and ACA
  • Manages required plan audits and coordinates 5500 annual filings
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's Degree required: prefer Human Resources
  • 2-5 years of HR/Benefits experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with on-line enrollment systems
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with ADP Software strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management
