You've heard of us, now join us! OMNI HR Management provides a variety of human resources expertise (consulting, search and outsourcing) to client organizations throughout Kansas City. Due to significant growth, we are seeking a Benefits and Payroll Administrator to function as OMNIs client key contact and expert for all employment related services, products, tools, systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day processes, including weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly client payroll processing in multiple states and related activities including wage garnishments and payroll deductions
- Process transfers to various third parties including retirement contributions, payroll taxes, wage assignments, and garnishments
- Partner with client and client business partners to define, establish and implement payroll systems, processes and procedures. Review processes and implement controls to ensure mitigated risk for the client.
- Facilitate set-up and implementation of new payroll clients
- Oversee, monitor and implement benefit plans.
- Oversee open enrollment for clients
- Routinely audit and analyze client payrolls and their procedures to ensure continuous accuracy and evolution of processes.
- Support any ad hoc client requests
- Develop and refine payroll SOPs for clients to be consistent with OMNI processes.
- Work alongside, assist and train fellow colleagues on payroll principles and client processes.
- Promote and encourage the development and cultivation of favorable, trusted relationships with OMNI staff, clients and service providers.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated competency and expertise related to information systems, payroll systems, timekeeping, benefits enrollment and related employment centric technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge and exposure to various areas of personnel administration, including payroll laws, employee benefits, ERISA, and related local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
- Professional certification in Human Resources is preferred.
