POSITION OVERVIEWThe Benefits Specialist will support the day-to-day administration, audits, and compliance of the Company's compensation, and health and welfare programs. This position will also administer the Company's leave and disability programs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:Performs day-to-day operations and general oversight of benefits administration for the Health and Welfare Benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, EAP, COBRA, HIPP, and miscellaneous voluntary insurances) including enrollment and communications.Supports coordination between the Company and third-party brokers and benefits providers.Support the Company's Wellness program.Assists with the annual merit and incentive processes.Partners with Manager, Total Rewards to provide recommendations for grading and leveling of positions relying on the analysis of external market data and internal equity data.Assures job families, job codes, positions, ranges, job descriptions, etc. are accurately managed in the HRIS system; proactively ensuring data integrity.Serves as a point of contact for auditors (both internal & external) and helps with data extraction and related audits.Develops analyses, dashboards, and presentations based on audits and requested data, providing insights and recommendations.Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 21 years of age.Bachelor's Degree in human resources, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.Three (3) years of experience in compensation, benefits and leave administration, and/or Human Resources positions for a large-scale luxury resort/casino.Strong knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefit programs.Knowledge of HRIS systems as it relates to total rewards administration.Strong customer service skills.Ability to process confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Experience working with salary benchmarking tools.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Proficient in project management skills, systems development life cycle, and implementing packaged solutions.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).Strong skills in project leadership, communications, partnering, and driving results.Proven knowledge of federal and state employment laws.Ability to simultaneously manage several projects.Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams.Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels.Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.DIVERSITY COMMITMENTFontainebleau Las Vegas is committed to ensuring an inclusive space and sense of belonging for our Members.
