Benefits Specialist📍 Location: Springfield, MA💼 Employment Type: Full-Time💵 Compensation: $35/hour About the Role:We are seeking a knowledgeable and resourceful Benefits Specialist to join our clients HR team. As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a key role in administering and managing our employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting a positive employee experience. Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and wellness initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education to employees about available programs.
- Manage benefits enrollment processes, including new hire enrollment and annual open enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and ERISA.
- Collaborate with vendors and brokers to manage benefits offerings and address any discrepancies.
- Analyze and report on benefits usage and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 of experience in benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits regulations, including ACA and COBRA.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
