Install new windows and windshields. Weatherproof windows and windshields. Provide estimates to customers. Use a variety of tools to complete repairs as efficiently as possible.Responsibilities: •Assessing damage: Evaluating the severity of windshield cracks and chips to determine if repair is possible or if a replacement is needed. •Cleaning and preparing the area: Thoroughly cleaning the damaged area on the windshield to ensure proper adhesion of repair resin. •Injection of repair resin: Using specialized tools to inject a resin compound into the crack or chip, filling the damaged area. •Curing the resin: Applying heat to the resin to properly cure and solidify it, preventing further crack propagation. •Inspecting the repair: Checking the repaired area for quality and functionality. •Customer interaction: Explaining the repair process to customers, providing estimates, and addressing any concerns. •Maintaining tools and equipment: Cleaning and properly storing specialized repair tools and supplies.
