- Data Collection: Gathering data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and surveys.
- Data Cleaning: Preprocessing and ensuring the accuracy, completeness,and uniformity of data.
- Data Analysis: Applying statistical methods and techniques to analyze datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports summarizing findings,insights, and recommendations derived from data analysis.
- Collaboration: Working collaboratively with teams across departments to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
- Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks crucial to effectively utilizing data within client to service internal and external users.
- The consultant will gather and collect data from sources such as business processing systems, call center and customer service suite of products, ensuring its accuracy and completeness through meticulous cleaning and preprocessing.
- The candidate will apply analytical methods to interpret data, uncovering trends,patterns, and correlations that offer valuable insights for decision-making. Additionally, will develop visually compelling and informative data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and dashboards.
- The consultant will collaborate closely with teams across departments, providing analytical support and contributing to strategic initiatives by generating actionable reports and recommendations.
- The position will demand working with client vendors and adapt to new technologies and methodologies essential for maintaining data integrity and driving business outcomes through data-driven insights. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in building complex and interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop.
- Experience analyzing Salesforce data and interacting with Standard and Custom Objects.
- Developing Custom SQL Queries using SOQL for data extraction to Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable business insights.
- Experience translating business requirements into effective data visualizations that support decision-making.
- Ability to design and develop visualizations that convey business insights clearly and effectively.
- Experience managing and maintaining Tableau Server environments, including user access control, data security, and performance monitoring.
- Expertise in creating calculated fields, leveraging table calculations, and using LOD (Level of Detail) expressions for advanced analysis.
- Experience working with Power BI and using DAX and M for ETL processes, including integrating data from different sources.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques, including star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics or integration with Tableau.
- Experience handling and analyzing large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Experience working directly with stakeholders and collaborating with business teams to understand data needs, gather business requirements and translate them into functional BI reports and dashboards.
- A meticulous eye for detail to ensure data accuracy and visualization quality, as well as the ability to spot trends and anomalies.
- Strong desire to promote data literacy within the organization, supporting other team members in understanding and leveraging dashboards for their roles.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Data model (Preferred).
- Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Certified Associate, or Tableau Server Certified Associate (Preferred)
- Knowledge of predictive analytics or machine learning models integrated into Tableau for advanced use cases. (Preferred)
