THE OPPORTUNITY
The Center's Gender and Family Justice (GFJ) team is seeking Facilitators to facilitate in the Respect First program. Respect First is a trauma-informed and culturally-responsive accountability program for young people ages 13 - 21 who have exhibited abusive behavior toward their intimate partners or family members. The facilitators will facilitate this class online and in person in any of New York City's five boroughs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of group facilitation experience, preferably with court-involved population. Previous experience facilitating restorative justice-based programming, and/or a familiarity with principles of restorative justice, preferred. The ideal candidate will also have:
Position Type: Full-time (occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays).
Position Location: Midtown, Manhattan, with travel throughout the five boroughs.
Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $52,000 - $59,500 and is commensurate with experience.
