About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Records Clerk to join our team at KCHC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating patient medical records in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. They will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all medical records, as well as responding to requests for medical records from authorized parties. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility and requires a candidate who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Fluency in both English and Spanish

* Experience working in a medical records or healthcare setting

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field

* Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)

* Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities:

* Maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

* Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all medical records

* Respond to requests for medical records from authorized parties

* Maintain confidentiality of all patient information

* Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of the facility

Skills:

As a Bilingual Medical Records Clerk, you will use your fluency in both English and Spanish to communicate with patients and healthcare providers. You will also use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will use your ability to work independently and as part of a team to collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
