Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Billing Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects run smoothly by handling various administrative and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in a casual office environment, takes initiative, and enjoys wearing many hats in the office with limited supervision. This position will be responsible for assisting in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable plus other general project administrative duties. From day-to-day, you will:

  • Partner and collaborate with other key administrative professional(s) within and outside GAC to seamlessly and professionally facilitate optimal work efficiency with respectful and energizing workplace morale.
  • Follow guidelines and policies for treating confidential information.
  • Coordinate between project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation required by the customers.
  • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.
  • Organize and maintain project files, records, and databases.
  • Assist AR/AP with billing while adhering to the workflow process.
  • Assist AR/AP in resolving discrepancies in billing.
  • Performs other general administrative duties as needed to support the Accounting and Operations Department.
  • Assist in special projects as assigned.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Field Wire)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
  • Superb time management skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate degree preferred or three years of relevant work experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required.

Workplace & Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Candidate must possess the ability to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone Must be able to sit for extended periods.
