Job DetailsJob Location Jasper Office - Jasper, TN Description 1. Maintains office machine equipment and calls repair person as necessary. 2. Copies, assembles and distributes agency informational material as directed. 3. Assists with payroll functions weekly, as assigned. 4. Answers phone calls, returns messages, and greets visitors in a friendly and professional manner at all times. 5. Assists in keeping office work areas, including kitchen, neat and clean at all times, keeping coffee cups, glasses, and coffee pot picked up and washed. 6. Notifies visiting personnel of any changes in Members, locations and/or status as directed. 7. Processes mail and maintains logs as assigned. 8. Provides assistance and back-up for office staff as the need arises and/or as requested. 9. Assists in compiling and completing data for the Agency Annual Evaluation as requested. 10. Maintains good communication with all personnel, supervisory staff and all departments. 11. Understands, complies with, and utilizes all policies and procedures related to our personnel management systems. 12. Understands and strictly adheres to all company policies and procedures related to HIPAA and privacy of all applicable information, paper and digital. 13. Keeps current, written, report of employee certification, licensure, and all other necessary documentation expiration dates. 14. Participates in recruiting and retention efforts, as assigned. 15. Assists with the interview, orientation, and records entry of new field staff, as directed. 16. Assists in assembling admission packs for admitting personnel. 17. Maintains adequate supply of current forms. 18. Photocopies/FAX as requested. Forward incoming FAX to appropriate personnel. 19. Runs generic notes, continuations, care plans, goals, and timesheets as needed. 20. Copies on call schedule and distributes as requested. 21. Clocks in and out using the approved method. 22. Completes monthly registry checks and other background checks as required and as assigned. 23. Availability: Always on time and follows rules concerning attendance. Provides advance notice of absences and tardiness. 24. Adherence to Policy: Always follows rules, procedures and regulations. Completes all paperwork on time. Qualifications 1. A high school education or GED required with an office related background preferred. 2. Adequate knowledge of office machines and office procedures, preferably in the medical field. Well organized with good typing, filing and telephone skills. 3. Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with all people. 4. Must be capable to perform essential job functions identified. 5. Ability to tolerate periods of continuous sitting and occasional standing. 6. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach. 7. Ability to lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 20lbs. 8. Ability to, on an infrequent basis, assist with lifting or manipulating objects weighing up to 50lbs.
