Billing Clerk - Berendsen Fluid Power : Job Details

Warehouse & Billing Clerk We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse/Billing Clerk to join our distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoicing, processing inventory bills, managing returns, and maintaining detailed records while assisting in other clerical tasks as required. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to adapt to dynamic changes productively. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and promptly.
• Approve freight bills and handle freight charge billing.
• Maintain organized and detailed work records.
• Work with Customers for 3rd Party freight options
• Reconcile payment discrepancies by collaborating with Accounts Receivable.
• Review airway bills and bills of lading for domestic and international shipments.
• Prepare tracers for lost shipments and file claims for damages, losses, or overcharges.
• Assist Shipping Coordinators as needed.
• Perform various clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and typing.
• Proactively learn new services and adapt to changes in processes.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ years in a clerical shipping environment; warehouse inventory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
• Familiarity with warehouse and distribution center processes, specifically shipping and billing procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and investigative abilities.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Typing and 10-key proficiency.
• Punctuality, reliability, and adaptability to miscellaneous tasks.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
