  • Coordinate the billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of client services and expenses.
  • Prepare and review billing statements, ensuring compliance with firm policies and client agreements.
  • Assist attorneys and legal assistants in resolving billing discrepancies and addressing client inquiries.
  • Maintain billing records and documentation, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Generate reports on billing activities and revenue metrics for review by management.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of billing processes and systems, identifying areas for increased efficiency.
  • Support special projects related to billing and collections as needed.

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least two years of billing or accounting experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with billing software.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-service-oriented mindset to enhance client satisfaction.
