THE POSITION : The Interim Housing Billing Coordinator is responsible for accurately maintaining the client data records related to LAFH interim housing, partner agencies, and motels. This position is responsible for tracking Interim Housing client-based expenditures, and processing invoices for motels and subcontractors. This position updates and maintains databases to ensure accurate documentation of financial information related to families enrolled in crisis housing. Additionally, this position will act as a liaison between partner agencies, motel venders and LAFH by coordinating program services and offering technical assistance to ensure program standards and contract compliance is upheld. WHAT YOU'LL DO : Review/process invoices and motel vouchers for crisis housing partners in a timely manner Generate and provide weekly client reports to the Interim Housing Operations Manager Track interim housing and motel placements, transfers, exits utilizing LAFH tracking system Maintain and update LAFH Crisis Housing log daily Document DPSS eligibility on HMIS for participants enrolled in crisis housing (Attachment A's) Engage with motel managers, partner agencies, and participant coordinators to obtain and track vacancies at our Interim Housing sites Upload, update, and maintain motel vouchers in HMIS Attend agency and community meetings as directed by supervisor Additional tasks, projects and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor WHAT YOU'RE SKILLED AT : In-depth understanding of housing assistance programs available for homeless and low-income families and individuals in LA County Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and find innovative solutions Strong organizational abilities to effectively coordinate multiple projects and tasks, ensuring attention to detail and timely completion Proven ability to establish and foster relationships with program participants, colleagues, vendors, and partner agencies Proficiency in conducting extensive charting, electronic data entry, and documentation; prior experience with HMIS or similar databases is highly desirable Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective interaction with diverse stakeholders Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment as well as independently when necessary Preferred bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, although not required WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED : At least one (1) year of work history and relevant transferrable skills WHAT WE OFFER : Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 403B Retirement Plan, 529 Education Savings Plan, Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Legal Access Plan, Employee Appreciation Program, Company Sponsored Employee Events, Staff Development, 9/80 Alternative Work Schedule, Paid Sick, Vacation and 13 Observed Holidays, Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Eligibility and more!
