Salary: Hourly non-exempt. The Patient Account Specialist, as a member of the billing team, will perform a variety of professional and administrative responsibilities according to the job description. The Patient Account Specialist will participate in developing improved billing strategies that meet our business objectives. Responsibilities include statement preparation, patient eligibility verification, financial eligibility, and collections. Candidates must possess the following: Proficient computer skills, attention to detail, prior experience working in a healthcare setting, and the ability to work independently. Candidates with the following skillset will receive preference: 2-4 years in a medical office setting with prior management of patient accounts.
