Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive salary - Comprehensive health insurance - 401(k) retirement plan with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Continuing education and training opportunities Responsibilities: -Communicate effectively and efficiently with the North Florida Surgeons billing team - Ensure accuracy and timely submission of claims for services rendered - Monitor and track reimbursement trends and identify opportunities for improvement - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete documentation for coding and billing purposes - Train and educate staff on coding and billing guidelines and procedures - Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve any billing and reimbursement issues - Stay updated on coding and billing changes and provide insightful recommendations for process improvements Requirements: - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing and coding. - In-depth knowledge of coding systems and guidelines (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) - Familiarity with insurance billing and reimbursement processes - Advanced computer skills and experience with electronic health records and billing systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities EEOC Statement: Orthopaedic Associates is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
