Grant Billing Specialist
Position Responsibilities:
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets to identify the necessary backup documentation for each billing invoice.
- Review invoices and supporting documentation for each grantor billing to assist in the creation of comprehensive grantor invoice packets.
- Redact documentation in accordance with grantor requirements to ensure compliance during the preparation of invoice packets.
- Stay informed about changes in general grant regulations and specific grant requirements by attending seminars, conferences, and reviewing relevant materials.
- Communicate any billing or compliance issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt corrective action.
- Meet professional obligations through effective work habits, including meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings efficiently, and demonstrating respect for colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of a Level II background check.
- Ability to clear a federal-level drug screening; possession of a medical marijuana card is not acceptable under federal law.
- Valid driver's license with a clean three-year driving history.
- Required to obtain vehicle insurance within 30 days of onboarding.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods in an office or field environment.
- Limited physical effort required; must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle for local travel as needed.
