BILLING SPECIALIST DEPARTMENT:Operations JOB TYPE:Full-Time (40 hours per week) SCHEDULE:8 AM- 5 PM LOCATION:Johns Creek, GA REPORTS TO:Operations Supervisor SUMMARY: Founded in 2014, Zywie Healthcare is a cardiac monitoring company. We record and transmit patients' EKGs through holter monitor, event monitor, & mobile cardiac telemetry monitors. We are a trendsetter in the industry by putting doctors' offices and hospitals in complete control of their cardiac monitoring. As an organization on the cutting-edge of medical science, we plan to expand beyond the confines of a cardiac device company to become the gold standard for patient care. We want you to help us make this a reality. We currently have an opening for a Billing Specialist in our Johns Creek office. A Billing Specialist will handle our inbound/outbound communication (phone and email) related to patient billing including EOB and insurance verification. This role will provide assistance to patients, medical providers, and insurance agencies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide account information to customers and assist in account reconciliation.
  • Perform maintenance and placement/removal of holds.
  • Provide timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries.
  • Build effective relationships and trust with clients by listening to their needs and educating them about the bank products and services that are most appropriate to their situation.
  • Respond effectively to customers requesting to close their accounts, determining the reason and offering possible alternatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of changes to the banking environment, bank competition, and customer business environment.
  • Accurately completes settlements on a daily basis.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 1 year working in medical billing and coding
  • 1-2 years of ICD-10
  • Call Center experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Basic level of understanding of medical terminology
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail
