In this intermediate-level role, you will serve as a liaison between accounts and services while applying strong interpersonal skills within a team environment in your daily functions.Responsibilities
  • You will assure complete and accurate registration of laboratory accounts in a timely manner according to policy and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • You will verify of registration data and insurance eligibility to facilitate prompt reimbursement and reduce potential claims denial
  • You will maintain laboratory requisitions and supporting documentation in an organized system
  • You will review error, admit and lab-default reports on a daily basis, completing required billing elements and ensuring all laboratory requisitions have been reviewed for accurate registration
  • You will respond to requests from patient Services, Patient Accounts, physicians and patients for information, supporting documentation and record retrieval
  • You will contact referring physicians, insurance companies and/or patients to obtain necessary missing, incomplete or regulatory information
Requirements
  • Post High School vocational or business course work
  • Recent health care or insurance industry experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of Registration or Patient Accounting in a health care environment

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.25 - $30.59 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
