As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately transferring information from the customer's bill of lading document into our online freight billing system in an efficient and timely manner. This requires a strict, time sensitive schedule so shifts will often end at different times, could exceed 9 hours, and overtime is mandatory when needed. Maintain a minimum quality standard of 1 bills before error (BBE) each day. Maintain a minimum production of 35 bills per hour (BPH) each day. Maintain accurate records of customer billing requirements on a daily basis. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Freight Bill Entry Manual. Participate in team/department initiatives designed to improve customer service as needed. Responsible for maintaining regular attendance for duration of shift on a daily basis. Along with the Billing Supervisor, solve problems with freight bill entry issues as they occur. For this role, you would need to have a High School Diploma or GED, and you would need to successfully complete the Freight Bill Entry Training Program for job assignment Work Shift Second Shift
