Job Title – BIM Manager - International

Location – Various International locations

Position Overview: As an International BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing BIM processes for large-scale international construction projects. This position requires the ability to live abroad for periods of up to six months at a time. A current secret security clearance is highly recommended.You will work closely with diverse teams across the globe, ensuring that all BIM models align with client specifications, project requirements, and Caddell's internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BIM Model Development:
    • Develop and manage BIM models that adhere to both client specifications and Caddell's internal standards.
    • Ensure all models are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with project specifications and contract requirements.
  • Project Support & Model Coordination:
    • Provide technical support to project teams utilizing BIM software and tools, revising models as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Facilitate Clash Coordination using Navisworks, ensuring the seamless integration of major subcontractor layout models.
    • Support project teams with site utilization planning through the effective use of BIM models.
  • BIM Implementation & Training:
    • Develop and execute project-specific BIM implementation plans, ensuring smooth adoption and use across project teams.
    • Provide ongoing BIM education and training to Caddell staff, enhancing overall team proficiency in BIM tools and processes.
    • Pursue continuous professional development through online training in the latest BIM technologies and practices.
  • Technology & Compliance Management:
    • Maintain and manage all BIM-related hardware and software, ensuring that systems are up-to-date and fully functional.
    • Stay current with the latest advancements in BIM technology, applying innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in BIM management, preferably in an international context.
    • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
    • Strong understanding of clash detection, model coordination, and site utilization planning.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor teams.
    • Willingness to live abroad for extended periods.
