Bindery Trainee - TSG - The Sheridan Group : Job Details

Job Summary

• Assist operator by maintaining bindery schedule and replenishing binder pockets as necessary during the production run
• Complete the staging process including verification of cover, folding status, F&G approval status, and job jackets
• Assist Collator, Trimmer, and other Bindery personnel as required and necessary
• Follow all required safety procedures such as: PPE's, Ergonomics, and etc.
• Performs job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be flexible, organized, with attention to detail
• Good mechanical aptitude is a preferred
• Good math skills

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing on production floor
• Must be able to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Schedule 40 hours per week w/ occasional OT

• 1st shift : 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week
