The TA position is defined as a GA whose responsibilities are instructional in nature and support the teaching mission of the university. A full time TA position would be primarily responsible for at least 3 credit hours of classroom or laboratory instruction and/or aid a professor with teaching-related items.

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to teach your assigned lab sections, attend lab preparation meetings, grade assignments, hold office hours, prepare the labs prior to sections starting, be at your class and have the doors ready to open at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the lab. Some lab sections will have field trips and other external activities that will require taking attendance.
