What do our Bird Specialists do?

Bird Specialists perform bird control services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices. This service will be performed on customer property in such a way that our customers' expectations are met and often exceeded. Communicating and installing a quality product is critical of our service.

On a day to day, this role includes:

• Entering a job sight, checking in with your contact, and interacting with customers to helping deter the nuisance of flight animals, such as birds, seagulls, bats and pigeons.

• Pay range is $22-25 based on experience. Pay is negotiable with the Hiring Manager

• This role will also include you going up in the air with a minimum of 40-60 feet in the air to a maximum of 80-100 feet, running cabling, netting and the additional use of drills and screw drivers. Not required to be lift certified, but it is a plus.

• This is a 100% remote based role with travel included. You will be expected to travel for 2 weeks at time with a per diem for flights, lodging and food. A company car is also provided, and you will be given a gas card.

• Not required, but looking for candidates based out of: MT, SD, CO, AZ, UT, NV, WY NM, OK, NE, TX, IO and MO

Your duties will also include:

• Build good relations include dealing with our district office mgmt. and coworkers as well as our service customers in a courteous manner at all times, leaving their premises and furnishings as clean as when you found them.

• Maintain your equipment and vehicle in a state of cleanliness and good working order for your own comfort and safety

• Responsible for attaining level of productivity based on level of training, experience, and type of accounts serviced. Including proper usage of all power equipment and aerial work platforms. You will be expected to complete your OSHA certification within 30 days of being hired and adhere to all safety guidelines

• Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations

Requirements for this role:

• High school diploma or GED

• Technicians must be able to travel for 2 weeks at a time

• Comfortable at heights in addition to able to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures

• Must possess a valid driver's license

• Must successfully pre-employment screening of background, motor vehicle and drug testing

• Will be required to obtain any required industry licenses within 30 days once hired, such as OSHA and lift certifications
