What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with the preparation and detonation of explosives.
- Work from a man basket at heights of up to 50 feet.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Handle and transport explosives safely.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of blasting equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Support the blasting team with various tasks as needed.

Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Ability to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in an underground mine where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment and elevated noise level.
