We produce Specialty gas compression lubricants, Vacuum pump lubricants, Industrial functional fluids including hydraulic oil, gear oil, and chain oil with a team of 200 employees.What You'll Do:As a Blend Technician, you blend quality products in compliance with the RCMS, ISO 9001 and all standard operating procedures. Responsibilities also include shipping, labeling, and packaging in order to meet customer demand on a daily basis. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.What We're Looking For:* Ensure compliance with internal CPI/Lubrizol and external health, safety, security, and environmental policies, following ISO-9001 and RC-14001 procedures.* Blend, package, and ship quality products in line with CPI and Lubrizol's Quality and HSES Standards.* Complete Batch sheets and SAP transactions accurately.* Follow detailed blend recipes to ensure product quality and consistency.* Safely operate various chemical processing equipment.* Load and unload bulk raw materials from tanker trucks and ISO containers using SAP transactions.* Package materials into various containers (pails, drums, totes, etc.) and prepare samples for lab analysis.* Perform physical labor, including drum and pail material handling and lifting chemical hoses.* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to 5S philosophies, and ensure the cleanliness of tanks, scales, and facility resources.* Operate a forklift safely and support the maintenance of equipment, including pumps, meters, mixers, and air compressors, as well as participate in cycle counts and physical inventory.Skills That Make a Difference:* High school graduate or equivalent* Basic math and reading skill* Good computer skills* Ability to read and interpret work instructionsConsidered a Plus:* Previous forklift* Knowledge of chemistry and chemical hazards* Knowledge of pumping operations, tank operations, and filtration equipment* Previous experience in a team-based work environment*
