Join the Phillips' team today and enjoy being in good spirits every day! This position involves working Monday - Thursday, from 3:00pm -1:00am. Occasional overtime may be required. The training schedule for this position will be Monday - Thursday, from 5:00am to 3:00pm. The Blender Operator is responsible for preparing all recipe raw materials (acids, flavors, and colors) for blending new products. This position works closely with other team members to keep the line running efficiently while producing high-quality products. Other responsibilities include monitoring supply levels, transporting product using a forklift, testing product to ensure compliance with specifications, completing appropriate documentation, as well as completing cleaning and light maintenance duties. All team members are required to perform their job responsibilities in a safe and conscious manner. Contributing to and supporting an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement is also required. Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:Frequently lifts and carries pails up flights of stairs (occasionally up to 60 lbs.). Must have arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination. Must be able to perform all duties up to 9-10 hours a day on your feet and be able to tolerate 90° heat. The ability to operate a forklift is also required. This position requires the ability to read and write English, excellent math skills, computer skills and the ability to correspond effectively via email. Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability are also required. The ideal candidate will have previous blending experience or experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry. High school diploma preferred, but not required. Candidates offered employment will be required to submit to a background check, drug test and physical ability exam. Where a candidate falls within the pay range will vary based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, education, skills and experience.
