Position Description The essential duties of this position will be to prepare, operate, and maintain production machinery to manufacture concrete pavers and retaining wall products. This position is also responsible for production numbers and quality, and requires employee to operate forklift on a regular basis and assist with the loading and packaging of product onto pallets to be wrapped and placed into inventory on an occasional basis. KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTSQualifications The ideal candidate will have prior masonry or hardscape manufacturing experience, plus the following requirements:
  • Must be detail and quality oriented with the ability to use measuring instruments to perform basic quality checks.
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude and be able to identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical problems and irregularities.
  • Must be safety oriented, and willing to follow safety processes and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently, but also in a group setting where teamwork and collaboration is key.
  • This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching while standing.
  • Must be able to work quickly, while standing, in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Physical capacity to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
  • Willing and able to work day or night shifts, overtime, and adaptable to changing work hours.
  • Willing to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Previous forklift experience/ certification is a plus.
