Position Highlights:

* Be a part of a rewarding team while providing outstanding care to a variety of patients.

Job Summary

Responsible for collecting blood from donors using both traditional as well as apheresis, check quality of blood and assume responsibility for safety and comfort of the donor following established standards and practices. Responsible to process phone calls, donor cancellations, and other inquiries regarding blood donations.

Education and/or Experience

* One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related phlebotomy experience plus hands-on training in apheresis blood collection is strongly preferred.

* Prior patient contact or lab experience is desired.

* This position requires basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Work Schedule

* Varied Weekday Shifts; Minimum of 4 hours, may be up to 8 or 10 hours

* Days: Between 8am - 6:30 pm

* Evenings: Between 10am - 10 pm

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

* $18.25 - $24.00 per hour
