Location: Delhi, NY Category: CADI Dining Services Posted On: Thu Jul 25 2024 Job Description:COOKOverseeing the production of foods for the shift according to standards issued by the unit manager, assistant unit manager, chef and general supervisor maintaining a high standard of quality.Check food in for the next shift's meals.Fill reports in concerning usage of product in all areas as well as making notes concerning the production of foods for said meal.Assist unit manager, assistant unit manager, chef, and general supervisor in upholding all policies and procedures as instituted by CADI and/or SUNY Delhi.Maintain standards of sanitation, safety, and cleanliness at all times.Maintain good working relationships among employees.Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.May be called upon to perform other duties not specifically described here.Job Requirements:Must be able to cook in a fast food environment.Must be able to operate commercial deep fryers, grills, pizza oven and kitchen equipment.Must be able to work independently and supervise others.Must be able to follow standardized recipes, resulting in a quality-finished product, as assigned according to specific area.Must be knowledgeable and practicing in food service safety and sanitation.Must have working knowledge of fundamental culinary skills.Additional Information:Various Part-Time Shifts Available.$16-19/hourCADI & SUNY Delhi have a strong commitment to Affirmative Action and Cultural Diversity.
