BMPO QC - Johns Manville Corporation : Job Details

This is a quality control position working to perform the tasks associated with the manufacture of Thermo-1200 and Firetemp Calcium Silicate Insulation products. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Calsil Operations Perform all tasks associated with a Calsil Operator II. Raw Material receipt and associated rail car manipulation. Raw Material prep, analysis, and stage/hold management. Environmental monitoring and quality evaluations. Calibrate analytical equipment; perform calculations, document results to permanent records in both written and electronic format. Responsible for operating in conformance with the ISO certification held by the Fruita facility. Prepare Calsil batch slurry consistently and accurately from raw materials. Weigh and introduce raw materials consistently and accurately into a common tank. Prepare HP slurry consistently and accurately from raw materials. Transfer HP slurry to the ribbon mixer.
