We are in need of a Hard Working Experienced Body Technician.Responsibilities-

• Review work order and parts list for every vehicle repair.
• Inspect parts for damage and correctness and notify estimator immediately if any part is damaged or incorrect.
• Disassemble vehicle and inspect for any additional parts needed.
• Perform necessary body repairs and reassemble vehicle once complete.
• Complete quality check of all repairs.

Description of the role: The Body Shop Technician at Ghent Motor Company will be responsible for repairing and maintaining customer vehicles. This includes performing body work, painting, frame work, mechanical work, and other necessary repairs. The technician will work in a team-oriented environment and must be able to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.Responsibilities: - Perform body work on damaged vehicles, including dent repair and panel replacement. - Prep and paint vehicles to match manufacturer's specifications. - Diagnose and repair structural damage. - Repair or replace damaged parts. - Perform frame and mechanical work as required. - Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a body shop technician. - Strong knowledge of automotive systems, particularly body, paint, frame, and mechanical work. - Proficient in using body shop tools and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. - Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.Benefits: - Competitive compensation: $24 - $29 per hour, plus variable rates for frame and mechanical work. - Health, dental, and vision insurance. - Paid time off and holidays. - 401(k) retirement plan with company match. - Ongoing training and development opportunities. - Employee discounts on vehicle purchases, service, and parts.About the Company: Ghent Motor Company is a family owned and operated dealership with over 80 years of experience, located in Greeley, Colorado. • 2+ years of Body Shop Technician experience preferred
• ICAR preferred
• Certified General Motors Training will be required upon employment
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have basic computer skills
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with customers and coworkers
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
