We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, as well as supporting day-to-day administrative operations.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and overseeing bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, supporting financial reporting, and handling a range of administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both bookkeeping and administrative roles within a manufacturing environment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Financial Tasks

  • Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring all are entered into QuickBooks
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports for management
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking
  • Coordinate with external accountants for audits and tax preparation

Administrative Tasks

  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment, ensuring optimal organization and functionality
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative records
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, such as onboarding paperwork, timekeeping, and payroll coordination
  • Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors and handle general office inquiries
  • Support management in various projects and assist other departments as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Bookkeeping experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • QuickBooks: Proficiency in QuickBooks is required, with a strong understanding of its features and functionalities
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with general accounting principles and best practices within a manufacturing environment
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
