Position Overview

The Bookkeeper is responsible for assisting in maintaining accurate financial records, identifying any current or potential discrepancies. Are you someone who values accurate data entry? Day-to-day job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to maintain accurate and organized financial records for multiple companies and property investments.
  • Ensure invoices are thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, proper documentation, and correct authorization.
  • Reconcile credit card transactions, bank and mortgage statements, and various accounts as part of the month-end close process.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Handle remote deposits seamlessly, contributing to streamlined financial operations.

Experience / Requirements

  • High School Diploma or greater
  • Minimum of 3 years Bookkeeping for a medium to large company
  • Multi-Company Bookkeeping Preferred
  • QuickBooks Online: 2 years of experience minimum
  • Ability to work in a team setting and meet deadlines administered
  • Strong computer proficiency (G Suite, Office 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Zoom, Adobe PDF/Sign) with a willingness and ability to learn other programs

  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and respond effectively to multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Displays strong initiative and professionalism
  • Good math skills and understanding of accounting concepts
