If you thrive in a fast-paced yet welcoming environment and have a passion for numbers and organization, this role is perfect for you!ResponsibilitiesAs an Office Manager / Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations and administrative tasks. Your duties will include:Bookkeeping Responsibilities:
- Manage A/P and A/R processes using QuickBooks and Wallace software
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank, credit card, and loan accounts
- Post weekly payroll and handle 401K data upload and fund transfers
- Provide data for Workers' Comp audit and prepare 5500 forms
- Handle monthly sales tax reporting and payments
- Oversee record-keeping and payments for insurance policies, with owner/CFO assistance
- Pay S Corporation shareholders' federal and state estimates and business estimates
- Perform year-end functions and prepare files for the outside accountant
- Prepare and file 1099s
Office Management Responsibilities:
- Oversee onboarding of new hires and assist the owner in selecting benefits options
- Manage employee benefits enrollment/discontinuation as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Full mastery of QuickBooks
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred)
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all company information
