Job Description :

This position will assist the Bookstore Manager, Store Team Lead or Team Lead in the sales, customer service, and marketing of products at the campus Gateway Bookstore. This is an analytical, detail-oriented position involving strong knowledge of point-of-sale software and Gateway Church products. Candidate must possess excellent customer service, verbal and written communication, and problem- solving skills. Principle Responsibilities •Assist guests in finding the products that will meet their needs •Provide exceptional customer service •Assist in product receiving, labeling, and stocking •Assist with product research •Follow seasonal planogram diagrams •Assist with end-caps and displays for events and special promotions •Follow Gateway Bookstore policies and procedures •Restock shelves, endcaps and other product displays as needed •Participate in periodic and annual inventories •Consult employee scheduling program for assigned schedules on a weekly basis •Assist with training of new Bookstore staff and volunteers •Encourage teamwork among peers •Keep all areas clean with a professional appearance •Assist Bookstore Events Coordinator on setup and running of product tables as needed •Participate in Gateway Church Staff Chapel and First Tuesday training opportunities at least once per quarter •Other duties as assigned
