Boston, MA – Litigation Attorney (4-7 Years)

The firm is seeking a litigation attorney to join our office in Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate for the position has 4 to 7 years of litigation experience. Experience in commercial litigation and/or financial services litigation is a plus, but not required. In this role, you will assist our team representing clients in litigation matters in state, federal, and appellate actions. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney to demonstrate and hone his or her litigation skills in a culture that values collaboration and hard work. Candidates must be licensed in Massachusetts. License to practice in Massachusetts must be active and in good standing. License to practice in Rhode Island and New Hampshire a plus, but not required.
Requirements of the position:
4 to 7 years of prior litigation experience.
A current license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts - must be active and in good standing.
Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills.
Experience drafting complaints, answers, motions, written discovery and other pleadings.
Experience conducting and defending depositions; arguing dispositive motions and other courtroom experience.
Excellent research and analytical skills; clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare persuasive written work product.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ideal candidates will also have:
Commercial and/or financial services litigation experience
Experience assisting with trial preparation and trials
A team mindset.
Confidence in representing clients and our firm while meeting and conferring with opposing counsel.
A demonstrated dedication to client service.
