Position: Boutique Sales Associate Employment: Seasonal Position Start Date: Late January through May, with optional extension through Mid-July Reporting Responsibility: Sales Associate Event Staff Lead Pay Range Ranges Vary from $450-$850 per weekend: Based on Experience & Event Registration/Show Size. Who We Are Looking For: We are seeking Self Motivated Sales Associates with superior organization and time management skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent follow-through. The ideal candidate will have outstanding internal and external customer service skills and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team on deadline-critical projects. You should be able to juggle multiple projects and demands simultaneously, prioritizing and delegating tasks as needed. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential, along with critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. The candidate should be able to recommend new procedures where appropriate while adhering to current policies, procedures, and best practices.   • Set up and tear down of a pop-up boutique (usually early in the morning and late at night)
  • Maintain an organized and visually pleasing store.
Boutique Logistics
  • Ability to count, reconcile, and be accountable for a cash drawer, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Meet city specific sales goals by utilizing a suggestive selling approach, multiple product sales, up-sales, etc.
  • Inventory Merchandise post event to assist in restocking and ensure acceptable quantities
  • Utilize POS (point of sale) system for proper transactions including returns and exchanges
Customer Service
  • Developing lasting relationships with our clients.
  • Effectively communicate with our clients and customers to give a fantastic overall experience.
  • Responsible for understanding all Spotlight Dance Cup procedures and guidelines to accurately answer client questions
Skills and Experience
  • Prior experience in a Customer Service-related field.
  • Merchandise and Retail knowledge.
  • Familiarity with dance is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Physical and Logistical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
  • Enjoyment of travel, including airports, Ubers, minivans, and road trips.
  • Willingness to share a hotel room during events with a fellow employee of the same sex.
  • Assist in setup of stage when Boutique setup is completed
  • Assist in loading and unloading of truck.

  • Ability to work long hours while maintaining a positive demeanor in a dynamic, exciting environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team while displaying a strong work ethic.
  • Background, drug, and alcohol screening required.
IMPORTANT POSITION EXPECTATIONS Individuals will work from mid-January through May, with the possibility of extension for our National Finals through mid-July. Individuals must reside in reasonable proximity to a US international airport and have the flexibility to travel 8-12 weekends, departing as early as Thursday morning and returning home as late as Monday evening for all regional events. All incoming event staff will be required to attend an audition prior to being offered an agreement for the 2025 touring season. **Audition will be held January 3-8, 2025, in Eagle, Idaho.** Salary Description Range of $425-$750 per weekend
