Responsible for assembling and/or producing products according to detailed manufacturing processes. Accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines.Duties and Responsibilities:Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:* Assembles various materials into subassemblies or finished products using appropriate tools and equipment, in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.* Maintains accurate records/documentation related to work in progress.* Assists with in process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.* Advises production supervisor of line issues.* Notifies supervisor when tools or equipment need maintenance or repairs.* Labels and/or paints products.* Packages and labels product according to manufacturing specifications.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Flip needles for curing.* Cure needles to specified requirements.* Train associates to box and weigh needles.* Weigh count and box all needle types.* Label, disposition, and release needles.* Transfer needles to shipping.* Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level* For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable* Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures* Performs other duties assigned as neededESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (CURING ONLY)* Flip needles for curing.* Cure needles to specified requirements.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (BOXING ONLY)* Weigh count and box all needle types.* Label, disposition, and release needles.* Transfer needles to shipping.* Train associates to scan/screen needles.There is an internal pre-identified candidate for consideration.
