This position may serve either the boys or girls teams depending on the needs of each program(sport). This position may also serve as a JV coach if there is a need in either program to add a JV team. If there is no JV team the coach will serve under the varsity coach as the assistant. *Athletic Team Coach - To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem.

Must be knowledgeable and competent in the areas of: a. Care and preventing athletic injuries, basic first aid and emergency procedures; b. Coaching techniques; c. Rules and regulations in the athletic activity being coached; and d. Child and adolescent psychology, whichever is appropriate to the grade level of the involved activity.
